Harvest Information System Registry Stewards
The organizations above maintain the various registries that comprise the Harvest Information System. Most of the agencies enlisted as stewards were already maintaining comprehensive global data sets similar to those required by the system. None of these agencies receives any compensation for their stewardship of the registries. Rather, they consider the significant time and resources they have given to the development and maintenance of the registries as a service to the broader missions community.
